Qualification of applicants for Kup Grading
1. Full member of UTA and hold a valid UTA/BTCB licence
2. Full training period are required and recommended by Instructor.
3. All candidates required minimum 70% attendance of class trainings
10th Kup - 9th Kup ( White Belt with Yellow tag)
Minimum period 3 months training twice weekly
Basic movements
Technical : Basic Hand techniques ( Block, Punch, Strike)
Basic Foot techniques (Front, Side, Turning, Axe, Push kick)
Sparring : Basic arranged sparring.
Education test : Count 1 - 10 in Korean, Basic education in Tkd
9th Kup - 8th Kup ( Yellow Belt )
Minimum period 3 months training twice weekly
Basic movements/Combination Hand techniques
Poomsae : Taegeuk 1 Jang & Gibon 1
Technical : Basic Hand techniques ( Block, Punch, Strike) with Apkoobi, Dwikoobi, Apsogi.
Basic Foot techniques (Front, Side, Turning, Axe, Push kick, Back Kick )
Sparring : Basic free sparring.
Education test : Basic Education in Tkd, Basic Korean in Tkd
8th Kup - 7th Kup (Yellow Belt with Green Tag)
Minimum period 3 months training twice weekly since last Grading Exams.
Poomsae : Taegeuk 1 & 2 Jang
Technical : Hand techniques ( Block, Punch, Strike) in combinations
Foot techniques (Front, Side, Turning, Axe, Push kick, Back, Reverse Turning Kick)
Sparring : Free sparring, 3 step Sparring.
Education test : Basic Education in Tkd
7th Kup - 6th Kup (Green Belt)
Minimum period 3 months training twice weekly since last Grading Exams.
Poomsae : Taegeuk 1, 2 & 3 Jang
Technical : Hand techniques ( Block, Punch, Strike) in combinations
Foot techniques (Front, Side, Turning, Axe, Push kick, Back, Reverse Turning Kick)
Sparring : Free sparring, 3 step Sparring.
Power test : Side Kick, Back Kick in the mitt
Education test : Basic Education in Tkd
6th Kup - 5th Kup (Green Belt with Blue Tag)
Minimum period 3 months training twice weekly since last Grading Exams.

Technical : Hand techniques ( Block, Punch, Strike) in combinations
Foot techniques (Front, Side, Turning, Axe, Push kick, Back, Reverse Turning Kick)

3rd Kup - 2nd Kup (Red Belt)
